A Moment's Reflection

twas the day before Easter...
- boil eggs
- color eggs
- go watch movie screening at Coffee Underground
- finish crocheting "chocolate" bunny
- get dirty
- bath
- you get the idea...
Kalina received a package in the mail from my sister (her Aunt Raquel). As soon as she saw the box, she knew it was for her and she went about opening it.
A fluffy white bunny!
And other Easter goodies - the perfect thing to get us in the mood to decorate eggs!
We've been getting our eggs from a local farmer and they are natually gorgeous! He's got a lot of different breeds, so we get white, tan, brown, speckled, and even a blue/green!
I toyed with the idea of not decorating them because they looked so nice, but then I realized that would be equivalent to not carving a pumpkin for Halloween... and I couldn't let that happen!

Valentine's Day

Good morning birds!
Whattaya think?
We took a drive up to NC (that's where the closest Boston Market was!) and stopped at the Carl Sandburg historic home. I honestly didn't even know who he was, but we walked some of the glorious trails,
and took in the beauty and gorgeous weather.
We toured the old milking/bottling area & I loved this:
"Dairy Goat Milk: For Vigor and Vitality, Labels: Boston Market, chickens, crochet, day trips, Erin, felt, goats, holidays, Joe, kalina, presents, Valentine's Day

And seemed to enjoy every minute of it...
