She's TWO Already?!

Such a big girl! 31 lbs & 38" tall. AND she's just amazing!

K shared her 2nd birthday party with her Papa. His birthday was just a few days before, and he turned just a few years older than her, of course...

She got a great new book from her Granny...

It's the "bedtime" stories from the Gold Books collection... though we just like to look & talk about the pictures these days.

I wonder how many more years she'll be excited by socks?

Trucks are a favorite thing right now. Everything was a "fire truck!" for a while, but now we also differentiate "big truck" and "school bus". Airplanes and helicoptors are a close second!

And she is such a wonderful model! Showing off the crochet backpack I made her.

She makes her momma so happy :)

We had another birthday party at the park with friends the following Saturday. It ended up being a chilly morning - but we had a great time! We ate piles of pancakes and toppings, and drank lots of hot cocoa & coffee!

Our pink friends even came down from Tampa to celebrate.
And lots of other friends as well. Unfortunately, the batteries in the borrowed (thanks, Nana!) camera died, so we didn't get to document all the festivities, but we did enjoy a great time with our friends & family.

K's uncle even came along to help "guard" the food ;)
