New Years Eve & Slumber Party

K had her first "sleep-over". Kind of... our friend's daughter was delivered to us to babysit after both girls were asleep. But, they got to wake up & play together the next day (New Years Eve).

They do really well wearing themselves out though - guess I can't take too much credit.

Here they are on the way up to Tampa to ring in the new year with some friends.

(And I forgot to take any pictures after we got there!)

K was not happy about having her photo taken...

Oh, and the full moon that night was amazing!

Unfortunately, my camera skills in the bumpy car were not...

It was a "blue moon" - the 2nd full moon in one month.

These only happen on NYE every 19 years.... we won't see another until 2028!

A Cold Night in December

Well, I tried to get all the 2009 posts done in 2009... but that didn't seem to happen!
